Phoenix sat alone in the hot water, basking quietly. It was her first moment free from scrutiny. The spring seemed to soothe her aching muscles. That's what comes from sleeping on the hard wooden ship deck. She smiled content leaning back her arms on the ground behind her. Phoenix moved her arms to let them sink into the water, but the jingling of chains made her freeze.
The captive girl looked at her wrist, suddenly remembering they'd chained her to a tree. Phoenix threw her head back in anger. The pirates still didn't trust her not to runaway. She'd been given a swimsuit so that her dress wouldn't get wet, and still she was chained like an animal. Phoenix looked around, but no one was there.
"So what?" She asked herself. "Are they just going to leave me here to die? Oh that'll be a change, no one will ever find me this far from the town. And one day someone will find my old rotten skeleton. Those poor travelers will be so disgusted they'll never come back. My skeleton will stay in this position for eternity. Great."

Wearing swim trunks and a towel around his neck, Aram meandered around the hotsprings in search for 'the perfect one'. His eyes setteled on one right next to the captive girl; Phoenix. Giving a small smirk, Aram placed his towel near the edge-away from the water, but close enough to reach.
Stepping into the warm, relaxing liquid, the pirate watched from the side furthest away from the female as he softly leaned his head back to rest. How relaxing..., he thought, quickly being interupted by the sound of coliding chains. Opening his eyes he stared at the Black Bolt's captive. His head now lightly leaned forward with a softly raised eyebrow and a grin.
"Fancy seeing you here," he laughed as he noticed that the captain had given her a swimsuit.

Phoenix's head shot up at the sound of Aram's voice. Her eyes landed on him and her nerves began to take control. She was hardly covered, and slunk down deeper into the water. "You knew I was here," the captive spat. "It's not like I can go anywhere. Thanks to you that is, give me a break. I'd just die if I tried to escape."
Phoenix turned her back to him. Steam rising above her pale shoulder's. She shuddered knowing he was so close. Her heart pounded in her chest, and the chains rattled as she flipped her hair out from between her and the sides. "Is there something I can do for you?" Phoenix asked coldly.

So, she's a shy yet spunky girl.. what an niteresting captive. Aram pulled his eyes away from the girl as he looked over to his right, with his arms pulled up to the edge to support him.
His accent was in, as they were in a more public area. Thus, his english related accent shown through. "You might want to rephrase what you just said there. If I weren't a gentleman, I just might have turned that around," Aram hinted to the girl with a more 'mysterious voice'. Bringing a finger and a thumb to the bridge of his nose, they softly pinched as if there was a headache, So many possibilities can arise from that simple question.
Staring back at the girl who's face was now not very noticable, she reminded him of needing relaxation--speaking of which, where was his cup of red whine?

"I'm not going to rephrase," Phoenix replied hotly. Her danish accent showing more thickly under the sudden uncomfortable atmosphere. "You can reply to that however you like. You're no gentleman, so simply answer the question in any way you see fit. Is there something I can do for you?" The captive suddenly felt hostile, but not at all confident. Unlike the tone in her voice, which was quite forceful.
Bad idea, Phoenix you idiot. He basically told you that he's not taking it how you intended. You hove no choice now. Damn you're way to proud. She thought. The pirate worried her more than Kaito had. He'd been understanding, a true friend wanting to help her escape. Just because I asked doesn't mean I have to do anything. The captive's mind was in total turmoil over what had just transpired. Phoenix sighed heavily and shook her head, staring blankly into the steam that had engulfed her.

Making his way over to the other side of the hot tub--now even closer to Phoenix, Aram folded his arms and placed his head upon them as they rested on the edge of the ground. So, no gentlamen.. eh? Ye would be in for many KP from my journal tonight, he noted to himself as if his head were a 'things to do list'.
"Then.. if I am claimed to be no gentleman, then I shall be sure to inform you with this as I answer your question that shall quickly be rejected: Me," Aram had said calmly with a raised eyebrow. A smirk was sprawled onto his face as his eyes continued to stare at the slim girl, chained to a tree. I will be one of the pirates that you shall remember.. so praise up. How I do enjoy the 'stowaways'.

"Excuse me?" Phoenix choked out. Her body tensed and the black designs on her back curled. She knew exactly what he'd said, but a sliver of hope remained making her think he could mean something else. The captive cocked her head slightly to one side in thought. She felt how much closer he'd gotten, and her legs shook nervously under the water. As long as he stays in his own pool I'll be fine. Phoenix told herself.
She turned her head for a quick moment to see just how close he was. Noting he was within arms length and staring right at her. The captive whirled her head back to face away from him. She froze in fear, barely breathing.
The worst case scenario is being touched, and I hope he won't do that...

"Ha, you heard me," Aram said with a chuckle as he leaned his back, so the two were now 'back to back'.. in a way. A grin was still present on his face as the pirate began again, "But, fortunantly for you, I'm not that kind of lad." Guess there wont be much peace for her, just akward silence. No need to say more.
Aram's thoughts trailed on, then interupted by the sound of a sweet voice, so there was no way it could have been Phoenix. "I'm sorry it took a while, but we had to get another barrel. Here's your wine miss!" The lady cheerfully noted as she placed the small glass near the captive. This angered Aram a bit, as he remained calm, watching the waitress walk away. I'm no lady.. and I look nothing like her! The pirate tooik a deep breath and looked back at Phoenix.
"That would be mine..," Aram softly demanded as he wished to have his red wine.

Phoenix pulled herself away from Aram. Her body shook with nerves and fear. "Don't touch me," the captive said quietly. "Stay away from me." Her voice shook even more than her body. She tried to swim to the other side of the spring but was jerked back by her chain. It was stuck over a large rock by Aram.
Phoenix watched him as she moved tentatively toward him. She reached for the chain and lifted it off the rock, never taking her eyes off of him. That jerk! The captive thought bitterly. How dare he come o close to me? Phoenix grasped the chain tightly, knowing he could still reache her if he wanted to. Phoenix was still frozen in fear from the angry expression on his face.

"I wouldn't want to touch you anyways," Aram gave a sigh, and 'ignored' Phoenix as she attempted to have more chain. He wanted to have his whine, so he reached out for it, picking it up by the stem, which he was well aware of something you aren't supposed to hold it by. He pulled the glass closer towards him as he glanced over at the girl which was like a fish out of water.
He continued staring at her just to get on her nerves just before taking a sip of his whine. "How are those cuts on wrist doing? Those from the tight grip of the chain? It is a nice fit after all," Aram seemed rude when he was around Phoenix, but she was the captive of the Black Bolt anyways. Oh how the crew and she entertain me.

Phoenix dropped the chain and looked down at her bleeding wrist. She swam back to the otherside, away from him. The captive watched the pirate cautiously her hands shaking under the water. His continuous stare chilled her bones. She sunk down hoping the water would warm her, but it didn't work.
Why is he doing this to me? I haven't done anything to him. Picking on me is not the way to go. Phoenix thought. Her watchful eyes turned into a pearcing stare. "Why are you being so cruel?" She asked more confidently than she felt.

Aram gave a small, cold laugh which was never really heard from. "What's ye's position on the ship, lassy?" He asked, this time using pirate's formatting speach. Guess she's easily bothred by a simple stare.. as can I.
The golden haired pirate continued taking small sips of the wine as he awaited to hear more whine from Phoenix. Hah, would you like some cheese to go with that whine? Aram laughed in his head as he set the glass that was now half way filled with his favored drink.

Phoenix couldn't answer, she had no position. She was just there, a captive. The sixteen-year-old hung her head, and turned red. "I'm not a part of the crew," the captive snapped. Then a devilish smile crossed her face. "I merely bask in all the crew does. I don't have to work for anything."
How you like dem apples? All I have to do is sit around and make snide remarks. Phoenix grinned cheekily. Wondering if the simple words would anger him. The mist roase and it became harder to see Aram's face.

Aram returned Phoenix's smile just before taking another swig of his drink. "Very good," The pirate pulled the wine glass away from his damp lips as he asked his question. An eyebrow was raised as he stared at the girl that bathed in the hotspring, finding no relaxation with him there--though it was the complete opposite for him.
"Now, what is it that we do to relieve our stress? We aren't like those thilthy men, here in Tortuga. No, we find something else instead.. and I am sure that ye would be aware of this," he began asking his question, shy of a riddle format. It seems cruel, but when you see what we really are, then it changes all the rules. We pirates really are the intertaining sailors of the seas.

"Maybe you should tell me," Phoenix replied. The steam thickened to a point where she could no longer see Aram across the pool. The metal clasp around her wrist heated quickly, but she ignored it. The captive relaxed in the mist, her hair floating around her. Phoenix was almost ready to get out, another few minutes was all she had left.
When will they be back to take me to the ship? The captive wondered. I wish we could stay a few more days, but they'd be caught. I'd have no where to go, but maybe that sounds selfish. They're my only hope, I can't get stuck with the scoundrels out here.
