18 year old Kairi sighed as she sat on the rail of the Black Bolt, her hair still in it's traditional half up, half down style. She hated it here. Ever since her father's hanging had taken place, she'd resented Dublin, Ireland. Every port in Ireland. She had almost lost her life here, near seven years ago, at the hand of her girlfriend's half-brother, Konahei. She sighed, and looked over at her girlfriend, Captain Lekeb Raiden. She smiled lightly, and looked out at the port, muttering, "I swore I'd never come back...yet we had to...because I have some of my father's pirating items to get from...'home'..." The word felt foreign to her, as she hadn't had any real home but the Black Bolt for seven years. She swung her legs over the rail and walked over to Lekeb, arms wrapping around her protectively and affectionately.
"Guess I'll 'ave ta go by meself, then..." she purred softly into the captain's ear.

Lekeb opened her eye a little and scoffed a bit. "An' leave ye to all th'm lads ther', hell no." She crossed her arms having been a little 'tense' over the idea, but wanted to make her mate as happy as she could and agreed....sortta.

Kairi smiled and purred again affectionately. "Thank you...fer letting me come back here...to retain that which belongs to me." she murmured softly in her mate's ear. "I know it's hard for ye ta be back here an' all....it's hard fer me too..." she said softly, before lacing her fingers with her mates

Kairi walked with her to her father's old mansion, and walked inside. She sighed, then walked to a hall closet, and pulled out a few long, thin boxes before walking upstairs and grabbing an already packed bag. She walked back down to her mate, and nodded. "I'm done here."

Kairi took one last, lingering look at where she'd grown up, set her things down, and bowed respectfully before straightening. "I'll never forget this place." She said boldly, then picked up her things, and walked out, leaving her old life behind her

Kairi smiled and stayed close to her as they walked back to the Black Bolt. "Can I put these in our quar'ers fer now, luv?" she asked as they got there
