Aram saw the facial expression that Phoenix wore, making him raise smile, especially after the first thing she said. "Does that mean I have to stop?" Aram asked, his forehead was leaned against the captive's. He had an honost look on his face, the eyebrow lowered, and his smile disappeared as he finished his sentence, even though he still had the feeling that he was going to be smacked, needing to sheild himself.
"Because," Aram continued, "Ye should know why..." he said, pulling his head back and raising it. Did ye forget? ye should know the answer by the previously played actions... how.., Aram paused, not finishing his sentance. Is ye heartbroken? Is there more to be said? He asked himself, his gentlman self was confused, but not mixed up like Phoenix was.

Phoenix pulled away, confused with how the events were playing out. Her eyes turned dark and fiery red with anger. "I see," she ground out. The captive pushed the pirate away, forcing him onto his own bed. The lass stood over him and smacked him hard on one cheek. Tears streamed down her face, but for once she didn't care.
"You can't do things like that to people," Phoenix spat. Her face was red and blotchy. "How dare you treat my life like a game? My feelings aren't for you to mess around with. I wish I didn't have them. I hope I never see you again." The teenager ran out the door, down the stairs, and out of the inn. Outside she was drenched in seconds, running frantically to find shelter.
Down an alley she found a large wooden crate. Phoenix crawled inside still being pelted by rain. She shivered, arms bare and cold. Tears still flooded her pale face. The lass huddled back into the crate, hugging her knees to her chest.
((Is he saying he doesn't love her?))

[[Just keep reading!]]
Aram had no chance to say anything. Phoenix had practically immobilized him by the slap, and stunned by the sudden fire in her eyes. "Wait!!" The pirate called out to the girl.., but she was already gone. ...Idiot, Aram said to himself with a quick dash down the stairs after her, grabbing his boot and coats on the dashing way out to the muddy street. Where could she have gone? She's quick.. and I can't see anything with all of this rain falling.. where could she have gone? Aram panicked, looking in two possible directions for the girl to have gone. He looked beneath him, not able to find any foot prints. Only mud. All the signs of a direction were quickly washed away after taking a step.
I should have said something more.. He continued to panic, looking around desperately for the captive. "Phoenix!" He called out, barely able to hear himself over the falling of the crying sky. I should have been more serious, he thought, saying more things that wouldn't matter now, since time had passed. Right!! He decided himself, running towards the opposite direction of the ship, having a feeling that she'd go to the right.. if she was thinking or for 50/50 chance. But for him, the chances of her going right, were higher if she did use her head.... if she had the time.
"I'm sorry!" Aram yelled out, knowing what he did was foolish, "Phoenix!" He yelled again, his voice was buried by all of the surrounding noises of the storm. He stopped running at the side of every building, looking for any possible hiding places. Idiot! Idiot! IDIOT! YOU'RE NO GENTLEMAN! The pirate scolded, looking for Phoenix. He stopped in front of his second alley way, next to the bakery he had mentioned earlier. "I'm sorry!" He cried out again.
"I honestly don't know what I'm sorry for, but I'm sorry!" He said, feeling like a jerk. I already confessed to you.. Phoneix… don’t you remember? he asked, looking up to the sky, allowing himself to be soaked up in the rain. He felt the rain fall down his face, but he didn’t feel the rain escaping from it. Where are you hiding? he questioned. I have to keep looking…!! He thought desperately, knowing it would be his ass chewed up for the only captive of the Black Bolt’s escape.
The pirate stared down the dark alley way, only seeing darkness. He ran down, not afraid of falling; only losing. “Phoenix?” He asked, now standing in front of a large crate. Aram bent down, seeing the crying girl which seemed soulless, motionless.
“Phoenix?” He repeated.

The lass heard her name and picked up her head. She searched for the source of the sound, but couldn't find one. Her heart raced as she heard it again. He's sorry for hurting me, but not much can heal my broken heart now. Phoenix saw someone stop infront of her hiding place. When she realized it was Aram she hid her face in her knees.
"Go away," the teenager muttered. "I have nothing left to discuss with you. And I'm not going back. I'll never go back. Nothing you can say will make me." Her voice was full of deadly seriousnees. Phoenix picked up her head, still hugging her knees close. No longer crying her sharp eyes glared at him. It's very cold out here. Why won't this rain let up? Then they can leave port, and me.
Phoenix crawled out of the crate. It was not as safe as she'd hoped in their. And she was afraid lightening would strike it. The lass tried to stand, but her legs were shaky from the cold and sickness. Phoenix fell back, now sitting on the box. She leaned back on her hands, breathing heavily. "I can't take this anymore," the blonde girl spat. "Tell me the flat out truth. Just so I can make sure I understand."

SHe's here.. she's really here, no hullusination. The Pirate's face softened to a happy smile, glad to see her, even if she was mad. Aram pulled Phoenix near him, leaning his head in to whisper in her ear. "I already confessed to you..." The pirate whispered, pulling his away with a smile, happy to see that she was 'safe', aware of her were abouts.. right there in front of him. He placed his jacket over her, picking her up, supporting her upper back and knees like the princess he thought she was. "There's no reason to run away.. but you have to get out of this weather, because you're under the weather," he said almost wanting to laugh.
"Now, let's get you someplace warm," Aram said as he turned out to the middle of the empty, muddy street. The two of them were drenched in the rain, but that didn't matter to Aram, because he had a feeling that kept telling him 'that everythihng would turn out fine.' "And you can show me just how grateful you are... praise me," he said, looking down at the golden haired girl in his arms.
((Heheh... task is soooo close!))

Phoenix just sat stunned by the words in her ear. Heart thudding in her chest the girl looked up at him, full of desire. "You r-really care about me?" She grasped her hands around his neck, holding tightly. "I guess I'm not very good at this, huh?" Phoenix blushed. Slowly the blonde leaned forward eyes serious. It was her turn to whisper in the pirate's ear.
"Put me out of my misery," Phoenix whispered seductively. "Kiss me." Her lips brushed his cheek as she lowered herself back down in his arms. The captive smiled innocently, but there never was anything innocent about her. She'd always be the spitfire lass she was the day they met, but love had made her less angry. A nice side of her had developed, but not many would see it and not for very long.

Phoenix's answer was good enough, considering how he told her to praise him, but in a way she was. Allowing him to kiss her, Aram grinned as he lowered his head in towards the captive's face, already not far from his. The tender skin on his lips touched her's, wet from the rain, but that didn't matter. He had her now. The eyelids of his were now covering the sandy eyes of his. No breath was tooken, just moments of silence in the rain, Phoenix in Aram's arms.
The kiss was better than the first one he gave her in his oppinion, more romantic, and it didn't seem as if she would regret it. Would she?
Aram slowly pulled his face away from her's, slowly fluttering his eyes open. His forehead leaned against her's, as he stared straight into her red eyes. They didn't scare him as they might with a little kid. No, he saw the color red as a deep expression. Love, passion, fiery, betrayel, and the flowing blood. Though, some of it may seem bad, that's just how he saw it. His little spark.

Aram's lips were soft against hers. Phoenix didn't want to breathe, just to sit in his arms. She pouted as the pirate pulled away, not wanting the moment to stop. Knowing that there wouldn't be as many chances after they returned to the ship. The captive's sopping wet clothes clung to her body and a chill ran down her spine. "You stole my heart, pirate," the sixteen-year-old said seriously. "And I don't want it back."
Phoenix pulled his head back to her's, kissing him longingly. She held back a little, sour at the thought that it couldn't last. The lass pulled away slowly, her red eyes deep with sadness. "We can't do this to ourselves," she whispered not wanting to look at him. Her head facing the opposite direction. "This will only end up hurting us both. And I can't let that happen. We have to stay away from eachother. And avoid the temptation for a kiss."

Aram was now the pouting kissing partner. "Ye'r evil," he told her as he started walking. She's right, we can't do anything much more after this. There won't be much time. Only when I'm in charge of watching her while everyone else is out... Aram sighed, wondering where to go in the soaking rain from there. The weather isn't doing any good for her health, and at this rate she could die with the way she might be treated on the ship, I don't know. Someone else feeds lassy here... so there's nothing much I cand do.. except slip her something here and there... he thought, even though he was aware of the dangers that might happen.
Aram didn't say a word, only walking into the bakery like it was normal to walk in there with a girl in your arms. He didn't set her down though, 'cause he didn't want her feet to get dirtier than they already were. "Lunch, Mada'm?" he asked her with an accent, attempting to be Romeo.
If somone were reading his mind now, they would think that Aram would be a freak or a pervert, but he was just happy. Something to eat is what we could use.. but my shirt as all wet, it's see through.. not that it matters, since it's not Phoenix. Besides, she has my coat. Though.. I really do enjoy being praise with her allowing me to carry her around like this. I don't mind! The scents of all different breads roamed the shop. Sweets, sours, plain, spicey, all kinds of flavours and scents. Making everything else the more wonderful.

"Ye know it's true," Phoenix replied. Her stomach rumbled and she blushed, deep scarlett. "I guess I could use something to eat." The captive didn't know quite what to do. She was still comfortably in his arms. Holding on possessively. Why does it have to end. I want to be with him forever. I'm no pirate. How long will I really keep him happy?
The teenager leaned her head against the pirate's chest. "Are you sure you want me?" The words came tumblng out of her mouth. "It's okay if you don't. But can I really make you happy?" Her insecurities poured out in her words. Damn. It's too early for this. I shouldn't question a good thing. But I just can't understand it.

Aram glanced down at the captive for only seconds, then looked up to the person that ran the bakery. Then, as if he didn't hear what Phoenix said, Aram began talking, "Two of the most popular breads that you sell, I would like two of each of them, along with.. an orange jam bread please," ..to the man behind the counter. The man responded, after looking at him funny as if he was a talking elephant or something.
"If you keep up your questioning," Aram began to talk to Phoenix. "Then it just makes my heart ache, so don't pierce it." His attention went back to the man running the bakery, very lean old man, about his height, who barely seemd to eat by his appearance. "Thank you," He told him, reaching into his pocket for his money, not able to find it. Crap... Aram thought, then he looked at his jacket. Probably in there.. most likely.. better be.. he thought as he went though the pockets, finding his wallet and handing him one of the last bills he had left. Relief, he thought. "PLease keep the change," he insisted, just like he did with the Innkeeper.
He left, placing the bag of bread on top of Phoenix's stomache and headed back towards the Inn, where they stayed at for the night. Aram didn't even glance at her, only walked in killing silance.

"I"m sorry," Phoenix nuzzled her head on his chest. "It's just hard to believe that's all." She smiled to herself. {i]I don't want to hurt him. That's the last thing I want. I really care about him.[/i] There was no safer place to Phoenix than in Aram's arms. "Are you really going to have to put me down?"
The captive's grasp around his neck tightened. Happy again, for the first time in a long time. What would I do without you, Aram. I don't think I'd survive the ship. But you have to stay away from me there. Phoenix felt the stares of people in the stores. Seeking shelter from the rain. The look on one woman's face semmed to show digust at the two young sea-farers acting so close. The lass buried her face in Aram's wet shirt, trying to escape the heated gazes.

Aram notice the odd stares that people gave them, probably because not many people did this. He merely looked down at her and said: "Let them stare."
Making his way back inside of their shelter from the previous night, Aram continued to cary her, even up the stairs, though his arms were getting a little tired. He did carry things around on the ship, but not so long. The most recent carying that he had done was carrying the chain that was attatched to the girl in his arms. "Go ahead and take one," Aram said, walking into the already opened room, which he had left opened from the dash out after her. "The bread I mean," he reffered, placing her down on the chair at the desk, so that the bed wouldn't get drenched again in storm water.
"The orange jam one is for ye. If ye don't like it, I'll make you eat it. It'll help ye get better," he said, as he stepped away from her, placing the bag of pastries on the desk. He began walking towards the front of the room to close the door, as he suddenly gave a soft sneeze. "Excuse me," he said, just before her removed his soaked shirt. "Guess you got me sick too.. that's ye'r fault too," he said with a smile as he looked back at Phoenix.

"I'm sorry," Phoenix looked at him over her shoulder. "I didn't mean to make you sick, too." She turned her attention to the bag, pulling out the orange jam bread. The sweet smell filled her nostrils as she brought it to her lips. The captive took a bite and smiled at the still warm pastery in her hand. "It's good. Do you want to try some?"
Oh, I made him sick because we kissed. It really is my fault. I told him to kiss me. Then I kissed him again. I really should be more careful when I'm so unhealthy. No matter how you spin it. He got cold and wet outside because of me. Phoenix gave off a slight frown, but quickly masked it with another bite of the delicious bread. She didn't want to leave the comfort she felt with him. But to keep Aram out of trouble, the captive would have to go back to hate on the ship. The worst part was, she couldn't tell him.

"Oh, lassy. I was only being sarcastic," Aram said to Phoenix. He began walking back towards the lass. He leaned over her in the chair and opend his mouth wide with an "Ah..," wanting her to let him take a bite. He didn't enjoy the texture of the orange zest, but he like the flavor of the sweet insides. Though, Aram didn't mind it much. I like this.. but.. it won't last long... so. enjoy it while you can, he whispered to himself in his mind.
I don't care if I'm sick.. I just have to hope for the best until i get back up on the ship.. and then I have to either ignore the poor lass, or tease her. Whatever I manage to do myself.. love.. such a wonderful and killing feeling it is.
